Ensuring a vibrant Jewish future for our children
The King David Schools’ Foundation (KDSF) is the fundraising arm of the King David Schools, ensuring a vibrant Jewish future for our children and future enerations of South African Jewry. Its mandate is to ensure that our schools remain centres of both excellence and Jewish values into the future, while facilitating the community ethos that no Jewish child is turned away for financial reasons. KDSF provides funds for teacher and curriculum advancement, infrastructure improvement, outreach programmes and student subsidies.
The KDSF also keeps King David’s alumni body KonnecteD for life – to both the school and each other, by maintaining the alumni etwork database, organising events, in-person reunions and reZOOMions and keeping alumni in-the-know, through social media, WhatsApp
groups and newsletters.
A strong, active, and committed alumni network contributes to King David’s sustainability and excellence, ensuring that Jewish children without means can also enjoy the same education that shaped them.
