Uniting the best of Victory Park and Linksfield
This includes highly-trained and skilled educators, truly world-class facilities, an advanced curriculum offering extensive subject choices and a world of opportunity – in sports, arts, culture and electives that ignite curiosity, explore potential and develop talent and mastery in a broad range of disciplines.

At the core of King David High School is Jewish life every day – anchoring our children in values that will guide them for life. Being part of a Jewish community, immersive learning, Hebrew language, prayer, connection to Israel, Jewish history, and dynamic informal Jewish educators on campus all shape how our children see the world and themselves within it. It’s what gives them a language of values, identity, resilience, and purpose. It’s what connects them to generations before them, to Jewish community and to communities across the globe.

King David High School’s world-class facilities include The Yard (art, drama and music centre), The Studios (state-of-the-art multimedia and 21st century learning facility,) Klaff Family Sports Complex for basketball, netball, padel, dance and a fully equipped gym for fitness and strength training. Unifying King David High School allows for significant upgrades and investment in even more projects such as: a new Black Box Theatre for children inspired by the performing arts and culture, substantial upgrades to the swimming pool complex, the KD Life Centre offering academic, SEL and career support and guidance and an AI Future-Fit Centre.

Of course there are many excellent high schools in South Africa that deliver strong academic results, or excellence in sport, or impressive facilities, or Jewish education. There is only one that offers everything. No other school brings all of these and more together – with heart, heritage, and purpose – like King David does. We will look to 2026’s student cohort to be instrumental in building a culture of warmth, kindness, support and unity, that honours their joint King David heritage and their diversity.

This is not a merger of high schools – it’s not about preserving the “Victory Park way” or the “Linksfield way” but co-creating something new. This destination High School will unite the best of Victory Park and Linksfield to become the gold standard in High School education across the Jewish world.
